Buying Terms
We at Image Australia want to provide you the purchaser with the highest quality print that we can possibly produce. Our images are provided to you on Archival Quality Papers produced in Premium Quality Print Labs. Image Australia prints are considered to be pieces of Artworks, they should be treated as such. Your shipment will come with a provided pair of gloves, it is your repsonsibility to ensure the use of the gloves when handling your aqcuired artwork.
Looking after your print.
Your print is of a high quality and should be stored and handled with repsect. This may mean extra costs when framing, and also means extra care when handling and displaying your print.
Handling your print.
CibaChrome and Fujiflex prints are long lasting prints, with color that will last in excess of 50 years. Both these types of prints should be handled with gloves to prevent fingerprints from being transferred onto the prints surface. When handling these types of prints be careful not to kink the papers, always handle on a flat surface lifting with BOTH HANDS. Do not bend or fold these prints as this will severely damage the print visually and also decrease its future value.
Hannemuhler Prints are printed on a thick rag based paper, this paper is acid free. As with all prints gloves should be used when handling your Hannemuhler prints, but unlike the former printingmethods, this is to stop acid transfer onto the print. This acid transfer will begin to yellow the print over time, again decreasing the value of your image into the future.
Framing your Print.
You are purchasing a piece of Art, this image is provided to you in Archival form for storage and long term value. If you are going to frame your print instead of store it in Archive, then please consider your choice of framing store. These prints will need to be framed so that they are secure from mould, moisture, glass pressure, card sticking and general image damage. It is recomended that you find a reliable framing store that will guarantee its work. It is also recomended that your find a framer that understands the fragility of handling your images. Fingerprints can stain over time, kinks can devalue your investment.
Buying Conditions
As with any purchase, some conditions go along with tha purchase. We just want you as a purchaser to be aware of these before you buy.
We will only have your print created on initial payment of your print. This will ensure that your print is free from errors, scratches and general damage. All prints will be inspected either by our lab partners or by our image team. We will ensure that all images leave in 100% new condition.
We will work with you to ensure satisfaction, but all purchases are final. Image Australia provides no refunds for purchased images. If your print offers the availability of the artists signature, please allow for delivery time, the image will need to be trasnported to the artists before mailing.
Postage
If you would like to organise specialised postage or courier delivery please contact us before you pay for your purchase, we will then be able to monitor your transactions and provide you with the required sepcialist delivery requests.
Not Satisfied.
Should you be unhappy with your print upon recieving your postage, please contact us immediately, this will help legitamise any grievances you have with the work. If you have a digital camera please take an image of any damage, if you are worried about postal damage please consider a postal method that includes insurance of your goods.
